Salman Khan and Sooraj Barjatya's much-awaited Diwali release, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, has not only broken the first day record of Happy New Year, which was last year's Diwali release, but also emerged as the highest single day-grosser of all time.
On day one, the film's Hindi version managed to collect Rs 39-40 crore nett. The film's Telugu and Tamil versions have not collected much, minting aroung Rs 1-1.50 crore nett, reports JayeshKhatriOfficial
